Petals & Iron is a visual campaign exploring the garden within.

 

It challenges the false divide between strength and softness by centering masculine-presenting BIPOC individuals within the LGBTQ+ community ,identities that are layered, resilient, and often unseen.

 

Petals represent vulnerability, growth, and connection to self. Iron symbolizes strength, structure, and endurance. Rather than opposites, these forces exist together, iron protecting the petal, the petal growing through steel.

 

This work celebrates wholeness, honoring the tenderness within strength and the power within softness, where culture and queer identity intertwine and bloom.
